Re: MRCA News and Discussion
K is not inferior. K is just incomplete, thats all. I'm sorry, but 52Kn thrust of Kaveri instead of 62,5Kn thrust and 3D TVC of the Mig engine seems to me way inferior. I do. Russia will allow is my near correct assumption. Doubful and means nothing to US. The 50-50 partnership, would enable us to ...

the thing that mig folks would allow us to integrate western stuffs in to russian platforms makes it nothing near all eggs in one basket. that thought should be erased for mig 35. if IAF wants, migs would allow us to use Kaveri-ng into mig35 or GE414 into it, for that matter. it can fire astra, ks1...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion
It would be incorrect to describe the SH as a bomb truck! With the AESA radar + AIM-120C5 and AIM-9 + JHMCS (assuming we get all of these) its more than capable of holding its own against enemy air assets. However one scenario where the lack of maneuverability of the SH would get it into trouble wo...

Sajith Is it necessary to discuss a hypothetical situation of acquiring a SU-32, which is not one of the MRCA contenders. Neither is IAF looking at the aircraft seriously. Maybe, you have your own reasons to believe SU-32 is better suited for us. Unfortunately, the MOD and IAF does not concur. Inst...

Any details of air-ground role enhancements of Mig-35? Either navigational or targeting. I have not seen the Mig-35 deliver any ground attack ordinance. It is true that you will have to maintain separate inventories and that will add to the fixed costs but think about the operational costs (cost of operating the aircraft/hour) - the Su32/Su30 will have much higher costs to operate compared to what ever is selected for the MMRCA - plus they need two...

If that were the case, why do you think IAF is going for MMRCA at all? They could have just added a few more Su30MKIs... Because LCA is too delayed and we have to get more numbers and techs into IAF, but we can discuss that on the MRCA thread. The useful load on the Su32 is 8 tons apart from the fu...
