Looks like there is more than just IAF technical birds snooping around LoC/IB currently. There was a Gulfstream that was doing a beeline to Islamabad from Lahore.

Re: Indian Air Forces Strikes Pakistan along with Ground Assault

Found it interesting that M2K were used for the strike, rather than our dedicated DPSA Jaguar. I feel it is to signal the choice of the new procurement. With the opposition trying hard to make the Rafale pseudo-scam stick on the govt, this shows off what the Mirage can do even now and leaves ones i...

As per the aforementioned diagram, an armored brigade invariably consists of at least 1 Mech Inf battalion. The number can go up 2 in some conditions. But invariably there will be an element of Mech Inf in all higher Armoured formations.

My only pet peeve is that they could have provisioned some space to handle bigger more powerfulengines at a later date, as seen in the case of Jags. Having this facility would give us more options to go with, if and when we plan for an engine upgrade.

I am sure those costs don't come under CapEx budget, since they are routine operational requirements. A specialist tool for maintenance may be a CapEx procedure but the budgeting for it would be under OpEx only. So the total CapEx would remain at 35407cr or approx 4.9 billion USD.
