Sachin Sir, did I say IAF is not at fault? IMHO all stakeholders are at fault to varying degrees. My only objective is to see if there is a way to break this vicious cycle. Hence proposed a solution based on my understanding as an aam abdul.

Re: Indian Air Force News & Discussion - 23 March 2021

IMHO I think too much blame is laid on IAF & not enough on the bean counters. Most of the delay in development can be explained by not releasing enough funds in time & when released it is too little. This also extends to contract negotiations & order sizes. Almost every order for indigen...

One silver lining is that the Indian economy is poised to do very well in the next 10 years. If that happens, then some of the budgetary constraints will be reduced. This year tax collections have exceeded projections & I read a news article which said all ministries have been asked to accelerat...

RR share price is at a 16 year low & they are looking to raise capital & they are going through difficult times. We could potentially acquire them or take a substantial stake.

Would it make sense for India? Any experts who can weigh in?

GOI could tweak customs duty to promote domestic manufacture. Given the size of the Indian market, they will be forced to setup some manufacturing. Unless this runs foul of WTO. My 2 cents, am no expert but take it FWIW.
