The LAH Rudra; Its a recon option in the mountains and meant for anti terrorist ops and certainly not a force multiplier.
There is a big diff betn LAH and LCH.

Re: Design your own fighter

If i had to design a fighter i would give speed the most factor. Design a fighter to surprise that hits inside and hurts enemy assets. Twin Engine/Twin TailFin/NextGen AL41 engines/Frontal Stealth/No need for all aspect/Titanium-Aluminum body/PESA Radar/Cruise speed above Mach 2. More surface areas ...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion - March 2011

The EF/Rafale is gonna be just too expensive ..maybe they may satisfy the Iaf requirements but its gonna be expensive. In fact in libya it looks like Rafale and EF are in a race to bomb the T55

i keep coming back to the question if they can settle the Offset of 50%.
any thoughts on this?

Re: Indian Naval Discussion

Its interesting to see IN practicing smack in the middle of a trade route which is most likely to be attacked by China. Its a good statement for IN to make. But still IN on its own won't be able to stop the PLAN in South China Sea just the same way PLAN can't do anything in IOR. The Navy is the onl...

IAF has to have submitted the technical report already.

Re: MRCA News and Discussion - March 2011

IMHO, IAF should be "slightly" more interested in the strike capabilities of MMRCA. I guess this because IAF had initially wanted Mirage-2000. Mirage-2000 is an excellent a/c. It can certainly hold out on its own in the air but the area in which it really shines is in its strike role. Tha...
