Can anyone confirm if the blades for the GE LM2500 gas turbine engine built under license by HAL, is made in India ?

My Bad. I was thinking about ACTUALLY doing Research & Development for developing Active Armour.

I don't know - but if it is not mere assembly the left hand drive (LHD) story may be more esoteric. Perhaps there is something about loading bays or something else used by the IA or IAF that were all designed for LHD vehicles and the need to maintain that persists. Just a wild guess - I don't know....

80.5% of TATRA is owned by British NRI via Vectra Ltd. & consortium partners.
Tatra Vectra Motors Limited was established in June 1998 as a manufacturing base in India. Its is unlikely they would be putting together knock down kits when India is a major Automobile manufacturing center.

One would assume that delay in procuring 155mm Guns with range of 40 Kms will result in more procurement of “Made in India” Pinaka with a range of 38-42 kms. Moreover Pinaka production is not by PSU but by L&T / Tata. Each Pinaka costs 2.3 crores. (pretty cheap?) Associated vehicles and missiles...
