Re: Deterrence
I very well understand your view and do appretiate it. However, our supreme aim should be our survival. We have to try and ensure that most of the nuclear missile/delivery systems installations are destroyed in the first attack. If we use bombs of lesser yield to make them suffer, there are more cha...

Re: Deterrence
Ideally, if I was the general with the order to destroy pakistan. I would do the below. [After we have a moderate ABM shield..] 1. Get extensive intelligence information on pakistani nuclear missile sites. 2. Point not less than 1000 brahmos/prithvi/agni missiles with conventional warhead, to all th...

Re: Deterrence
: As Shiv very accurately writes, the moment even a single subkiloton is used against us, we should empty the whole arsnel on enemies immediately. Completely disagree with your view on this. I read a few articels in the net but no conclusive answer.

Re: Kargil War Thread - VI
I recently read some news that point 5353 was still held by pakistani troops in the Dras sector since the kargil war.
I read several links about this but I am not satisfied with the information available. Can anyone here be kind enough to shed some light.

Re: Kargil War Thread - VI
The paki General trio of Mushraf-Hasan-other wanted to mop up the bodies of Indian soldiers in Siaches, who would supposedly have died due to cut of supplies, but they ended up in a situation where they could not even mop up the bodies of paki soldiers. Their bodies decayed and remained unclaimed. W...

Re: Indian Army Discussion
I just cannot belive that any army however strong or weak can be quiet without responding to unprovoked firing.
Why are we keeping quiet, or if we are not, why is that not coming up in the media ?
