That so called PIB statement doesn't look authentic. "PIB (Defence Wing)" what is that? "Har kaam desh ke naam" the "ke naam" part is gramatically incorrect. This is the link to the actual statement from PIB site - https://www.pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1805148

The shape of the nose and cockpit resembles that of the Su-34. Could this be a tandem seat configuration? Look at the head on cad drawings. Tarmak007 mentions "Pilot associate to reduce pilot workload' in the AMCA Menu. The current configuration of the cockpit has no room behind, so tandem sea...

In the recent GPS show - Nov 24, 2012 Fareed talked to Robert Kaplan who had very interesting observation on the "Indian Sub-Continent". Yes Fareed used that word. Kaplan talked about the geographical location and the ancient dynasties of India; Nalanda, Gupta, Maurya etc and about how the...

Only three major milestones noted for Tejas Mark 1 FOC
Interesting to see that mid-air refuelling would be done on Mark 1.What remains is to integrate a long-range missile; to enable mid-air refuelling; and to enable the Tejas to fly as slow as 200 kmph.

An observation on the J-20. It looks like the plane is making taxi runs and undergoing initial cheks. Normally, (Tejas, JSF, Pak-Fa) when such tests are done, the plane never come out in their final colour schemes. We have seen others in their green and yellow primers. Is there any reason why J-20 w...
