netras can still be used for defensive role, and a330 or il76 based awacs can be used for offensive role. Netra can be forward deoloyed also, all in all it is a piece of beauty that can complement the larger awacs.

PAF said their entire air farce was airborne on feb 27. It is their statement, again missed by coupta. Do we know how many PAF fleet was really airborne at that time apart from the 24, it will reveal the flight fitness level of their inventory.

I have my reservations about Microsat R being the target satellite. My guess is either the disabled rimsat or lightweight microsat TD were the scapegoats. Very less chanve of a near 1 tonne satellite is going to serve as target practice.

One noob pooch here. Wiki says china conducted ASAT test in 2007. Risat1 was launched in 2012. So how could they have targeted Risat1 with chinese ASat test? I must be missing something here. they can launch a missile unannounced as well. My opinion is risat-1 was targeted around the doklam incident.
