The title of this thread says retaliation options for significant terrorist strikes. Well, Atleast for Pathankot strike, we need to send a message across. I agree we need to send a disproportionate response and deploy S-400 and take Baluchistan but these things are strategic response and may take ti...

Get 12 S400 systems with 96 launchers to provide saturation defence to block any Pakistan retaliation. And do it if necessary by paying the Russians a premium of $10 billion to have those systems in place within the next 2-3 months. And then for every terrorist attack into India, launch a salvo of ...

I believe Pathankot airbase was chosen as a target because they had help from inside. Plain and simple. Let us not be naive that our armed forces are super beings who can never do wrong. A siege like this on a huge military base needs weeks of planning not days. This attack was activated after Modi ...

Re: The Levant crisis.(Israel,SYRIA,Lebanon, etc) - II

Now the Russians say that they activated air defense missiles, the famous S-400 I guess, to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Does that indeed preclude the Turks interfering with the Russians carrying out strikes in that area? The answer is no, but it’s a hell of a threat. The longest range vers...
