Chandrayaan-2 was originally supposed to be operational in orbit for one year, but special manoeuvres in the launch phase, will allow it to be in good shape for 7 years. Mangalyaan was planned for 6 months, but has survived, and functioned for 7 years and 2 months now!

Thanks for opening this topic. In this war by official sources, Pakistani casualties, both military and Pathan raiders, were about 5 times India's. India lost about 1200 and Pakistan over 6000. Is this fairly accurate?

Congrats to DRDO! Now waiting for a possible announcement that this test had a MIRV with 6-8,( or4-6) payloads released. Of course, even if it didn't, it's still a very good and timely launch.
