Today(Sept 24/2018) is four years of Mangalyaan being in orbit. I hope they mark the event by posting some more photos. It's been many months since the last public ones. What an achievement to be orbiting Mars for 4 years, when the original lifespan was supposed to be 6 months!

^ Thanks! I knew I wasn't hearing things! Two ISRO officials,including the very chairman, spoke of the GSLV Mark 3 coming up shortly, one of them expressly used the time frame of 15 days. It looks like the DDM has indeed struck again!

Sorry if I missed it, but is that indigenous microprocessor( "Shakti") manufactured in India, or only designed? Because Chips certainly have been designed in India before. Manufactured, I'm not sure, perhaps ASIC have been.

Right, at current rocket speeds, it would take nearly 100,000 years just to reach Alpha Centauri, the nearest star in our galaxy apart from our own sun. What about other stars in our galaxy, not to say the x-billion other galaxies?
