I think we need to figure out the timeline between ordering, keel laying, launch, and commissioning. I think that we do ok till the launch stage. The fitting out stage is a problem.

Does anyone have a definitive picture of Garuda / guruthama missile. A Google search shows a whole lot of different missile types that I know to be not Garuda.

I am strictly against contributing to more space debris just for showcasing weaponisation and deterrence. This will soon lead to ocean plastics like situation. The space is already overcrowded. In any case every commercial space launch leaves behind 10 - 20 pieces of space debris ... probably more....

If you reanalyse the pictures you will see a missile contrail and a whole in the tail of the aircraft similar to a missile hit. I say that we don't know what caused the hole in the tail of the aircraft. It will be determined by the COI and until then I would not want to comment on this painful epis...

The report talks of missile being fire but it doesn't say that it killed the mi 17.

Was the enterprise in the strike range of IAF during 71?

I was always under the assumption that the Pakistani army surrendered before the enterprise even entered the Indian Ocean.
