a friend of mine confirmed that a large oil reserve was confirmed in Libya last year.... at about a depth of 10m...... cost of recovery abt 5USD per barrel........(@ approx a mill barrels a day........) Bahrain also in internal trouble..... with state coming down heavily on protestors... Will we see...

That's F-5/F-20 Tigershark. It was offered to India after Pakistan had already been offered the F-16 and the deal signed. The US offered to shift the entire production line to India. Predicably, India declined the offer. That is the upper one. What about the lower one? That is the reason why I pose...

cough cough boys, today morn the traffic jam started from hebbal itself. lots of policemen posted to keep cars moving and service lanes clear. the public parking lots seemed to be quite far with long lines both there and a km long line at main entrance. we reached at around 10.15pm and saw the sury...

How does it fly? Turbofans in place of the 4 wheels? I am sure that it can hover a few feet above the ground, and it must be a fuel guzzler. It might be stable if it has 4 turbofans for lift and forward movement (more like the Quadrotor micro UAV - seen in 3 idiots) More likely 1.goode olde dynamic...

not given permission to fly (as claimed by owner/designer) as no flt clearance by DGCA

interesting tho'

Initial reports indicated that a flying car (locally customised Maruti-800) might be on static displays
will any of the BR wizz0s at the AI-11 be able to confirm if it is there on the ramp???

Well when one is strapped on in single engine fighter and manning position at 900 kmph at couple of feet away with only few 100 feet between the crowd and self and when mighty bird takes on the engine...i guess its not a healthy feeling.. Russki companies (SUKHOI) has painted bright red stars on a jet black FSW at the Zukhovsky Base , may be similar to that bird though this looks conventional sweep back...

Sukhoi might've flown it there for a demo/eval/test
