Turns out that they are Mystere mockups for a bollywood movie called Sky Watch being shot in Hakimpet, as clarified by zone5aviation in one of the comments in X. Lucky to have been caught on Google Earth.

Correct. As mentioned in that discussion, these are storage tunnels dug into a mountain side. The gantry crane is to rotate/ position / move the aircraft horizontally over other aircraft. The tunnels are essentially level with the airfield / runway outside. Very interesting, and first time I saw suc...

The imagery for Ambala, in which the commencement of construction of new HAS is discernable, is infact very recent - 2/11/2023 to be precise. The previous image for Ambala is from Sept 2022 in which there is no sign of construction of HAS. So it means the construction commenced in the recent months ...

Hashimara has 15 new HAS, most of which probably have doors (difficult to make out doors in the sat imagery). The JF17 is able to complete the first half of the loop, ie climb to the apex of the loop. One would think that this is the tougher part, requiring sufficient T/w, and then the dive and pullout will be easy. But it always rolls out at the top of the loop and heads away 180 deg to the initial heading...

Even it you have an OCU, the regular sqns will still need trainers for IR rating checks, AEB categorization checks and DASI inspections, and sometimes even remedial training of qualified pilots.
Likewise OCUs also require single seaters.

CAG is able to identify one issue (the engine selection) because it was easy to pickup because of all that has been written about it in media in the past. To answer the questions 1. Advantage of a surface drone boat is that it is cheaper than a torpedo and doesnt require complex and costly seeker /guidance systems.
