Bottomline is this. India (Economy smaller then even Italy) do not have the warships nor the capability to make a dent in the shipping route in the Indian Oceon. Try boarding an European Ship and see if the EU will remain silence. Does not India gets many of its weapons system from EU ?

Gosh, the captain can just turn the GPS tracking off. And then what ? How stupid. In wartime no one wants to be sunk and every shipowner carrying legitimate cargo will keep his ship visible and identifiable. Any ship that fails to do that will be targeted. One does not need to get 100% of the ships...
