2 Front war can be fought and won today. I share a short summary of my Concept of Ops below. This is based on detailed assessments by me and some others. Have also run it by a former VCOAS and he liked it. There are some ammunition and a lot of B veh shortages but those can be made up in months chea...

Where is the question of import or even R&D sir. We should just buy off the shelf from AL and Tata and save 18%-25% instead of buying SAME PRODUCT via VFJ. Please read again. Thats why I stay away from this forum. People don't read carefully or bother to educate themselves. Why is there a shorta...

Tasting is in army also. Duty offr eats atleast one meal of the day in Langar and enters comments in register. Langar helpings are bigger than mess helpings. I like being duty offr. Full meal. Maybe different op philosophies. I am only half joking but its good to be able to go hungry because who knows what situation you may face in ops. On a serious note its a fact that army has to be hardier and togher than Navy. Maybe you have to fight for 2/3 days without food and water. It is a fact t...

They are called Cook Os. Navy food is better than army and the quantity is also larger! Helpings are bigger. As a young officer one would often be hungry. And we won't even discuss toilet facilities. But obviously one advantage of staying hungry is having to use the DTL less frequently. :D

Rajput is nostalgic for me as well. As a child I saw a party hosted on it. Remembered lots of food (specially pulav) and thought Navy eats much better than army. If SP Arty Viajra goes to Ladakh, it will be in support of the Armd Bde or Inf Bde but not under command. It will be under command of Div Arty or Corps Arty.
