Re: Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc
Retired General Talat Masood, a defence analyst, told media it would be able to hit targets up to 2,500 to 3,000 kilometres (1,550 to 1,850 miles). well... the range makes sense. let me explain to you all. range of the missile: 1000km range of the truck carrying the missile: 1500km range of bullock...

i remember reading some article long back in which Dr. saraswat mentioned that in indian missiles payload weight and range function is not significant. and drdo is constantly saying agni 5 range is restricted to 5000km only. again there are reports saying its apogee is 900km. this is also not fittin...

I have some fantasy/idea too :) A semi/full submersible vessel with minimal detectability carrying a single BMos with average range capable of traveling a little distance or loiter an area after being launched from a parent Sub/Ship/Plane. The headrest is essentlal. The head must always be steady relative to the sight and "physically connected" to the sight. For a sniper/rifleman - the cheek rests against the grip. In this case it is the forehead. Putting one's eye socket directly against a sight in a moving/heaving tank me...

I don't think the designers are as dumb as you seem to be alleging based on one poor quality photo. That's not an "IFR Probe" (not sure if there's any such thing)- its an airspeed calibration probe. It sticks out clear beyond the "dirty" air under the main rotor and measures the airspeed. The Yellow pylon mounted things are (temporarily located) aircraft airspeed probes. oh! i...
