If the tests happen on time (the TOI reports talks of motor problem postponing summer trials), the missile should see production in 2017-18 time-frame. Look at the bright side. Now that Rafale is here, no more nonsense from Gripen, F-16 and F-18. Furthermore, the Rafale is so expensive that the IAF ain't going to have many of them. All in all, good news for the LCA.

This might end up being an Urvashi's Curse.
