The audio book was even better. Returning back to the question regarding the effect of forces on the satellite and the launcher, it was mentioned that the effect on the launcher would be negligible. But in space, nothing is negligible. If you can have an ion thruster accelerate satellites across spa...

I'm not sure where we stand with regards to MSR ( molten salt reactors ). They are more efficient.
Once we have sufficient reserves of U-233, we can build the 3rd generation reactors in earnest. Then we can tell everyone to kiss our musharaff.

The way I see it, there are 2 philosophies (extreme ends) to obtaining the objective: 1) complete dependence on technology and minimizing loss of life. 2) less dependence on 'modern' equipment and lesser regard of loss of human life. Range is the determining factor. At arms length, a gun/knife is mo...

I think RoyG is spot on with his analysis. What makes pakistan tick and what enables it to continue to do so are separate but related. RoyG has focused on what makes it tick. Simple without direct evidence - the very first step of the response cycle - the Observation portion of any OODA (Obs, Orientation, Decision, Action) cycle is broken. I have a question regarding the AoA. What is the real advantage of higher AoA when the ITR at 24-26 ( for LCA ) is considered to be really good? Probably a dumb question, is there any private org in India that could build an aircraft around kaveri, either a single engined or twin if the thrust is inadequate? Could leverage tech developed for Tejas ( fwb etc. without the extra fancy stuff) on license basis.
