We would have won medals in women's 5000m and men's 10000m, but were shut out by African imports. We finished 4th in the former and 4th and 5th in the latter, all of them running personal bests. Bahrain and Qatar 'winning' with imports is a joke. LOL, yes. I forgot to write that. Typical pathetic A...

OK, with a couple of Gs in kabaddi on the final day, India has a good chance of retaining its #6 position in G medals (assuming DPRK and Qatar do not get any more). Already #5 position in overall medals seems fixed.

There really needs to be an official weighting scheme for the country rankings in AG and OG. Something like G - 1, Silver - 0.5, Bronze - 0.25. Makes no sense just to arrange it by number of G medals.

Although "tree structures" of language evolution are popular, we should take it with more than a little grain of salt. Language (at least some spoken words) are likely to be very old. Plus there are a lot of intermingling due to borrowings/back-and-forth migrations etc. So, a beautiful lo...

How is this known, i.e. that it is not the "true" meaning? Who/what knows the true meaning, and who/what certifies that it is true? This is discussed in Mimamsa. Basically, the Veda is eternal, impersonal, and universal, and therefore cannot be referring to "earthly" objects and...
