Re: IAF Organizational/Functional Structure

Peeyoosh, Hi good summary. We can hopefully try and put numbers from previous/similar deals. To get an idea. We really cant take the 90's as indicative.Because the 90's were definitely pegged as the lowest capex times. The 10 M2K's are bought already and hence their payment too cant be included here. ...

Re: IAF Organizational/Functional Structure

Hi, J , Good summary .Will dig up some dates/data to refine if possible. Peeyoosh ..good points. The LCA cant be pegged at 25 mill ..has to be 20 or lower.Hence the 220 number. So if you put 25 then lower numbers than 220.The MKI at approx 30.Thats the aim. I'll get around to this later, but the exact ...

Re: IAF Organizational/Functional Structure

I'll leave the finance part to the gurus..but a lot of serious thinking did go into the 50 to 55 sq figure. The PLAAF reshaping and modernisation figured prominently in that. The IAF has always faced a lot of shortcomings in its force structure viz the 40 squadron limit. Namely AIr defense etc.It pa...

N,
I believe the Arjun's ergonomics problems / issues were resolved quite some time back.DRDO-CVRDE setup a team for this task which would interface with the IA.The IA had noted their objections which led to the above succesful decision.

Lets see what Sachin has.Interesting.
