Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!

Pffffffffffffff here we go again... some one else could also suggest that mr Reddy took some change from Eurofighter to put a bomb under the Rafale deal so they have another chance...
This is the best choice accept it and move on!! It's a matter of national security...

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!

from JSFnieuws.nl:
The Pentagon has earmarked $151 million per plane and, in April 2011 (this was about the F35)
Can't see the rafale going over that number. But I would love the see the price of one aircraft in flyaway condition.
Without missiles etc.

Re: Indian Naval Discussion

I think there is enough scope for IN to have upto 6 squadrons of AD fighters for its three carriers.2 Mig-29K2 LCA-Mk-22 Rafale M It's not about how much scope there is, it's what you need.. Naval Tejas and Mig29 (K?) are allready two types. That means munition and spare part for 2 types. that mean...

I though the crashed aircraft looked like a Su24.
In any way, trouble has just started. I hope the West has enough sense to let arabian troops do some fighting for their muslim brothers.
Lets see..

Re: Bharat Rakshak Celebrates Seven Years!

Congrats to everybody.
I believe it was the year 1997 AD, when I first stumbled upon Rupaks Indian airforce page. There wasn't a great deal of information known in the west, so I was quite happy when I saw that fine looking website.
I joined BR in 1998.

Re: Kargil Revisited

b) In the 'spirit of jointness' would it not have been better if a joint IA-IAF team had published this report?
While both parties are putting the blame on each other? I don't think so.
Next question: After the whose fault was it question, will the GOI make sure that this doesn't happens again?

Re: Kargil Revisited

It's really hard to say who's right and who's wrong.
I wish I could say it is not true, but that would be totally baseless, as when I say that it is true.
So lets hope he presents his proof, and it turns out to be false alarm.
Very disturbing piece I most say.

Re: IA/IAF: Op Parakram and Kargil-II

Why was this kept a secret? Why is it only now that this is being brought out? All those newsflashes that the army was ready for raids in PAK, mean nothing. Fact is AGAIN that pak raided Indian territory. They were kicked out, but still .... Why are we still waiting? One more thing, at the hight of ...

What does the present situation tells us? That Pak can do whatever they want, as long as they remain US' lapdog. It has been like that for 50 years now, why won't we realise that. Pak policies shouldn't be US dependend. Do what is nessesary, make sure the world knows, you can't be pushed around. Whe...

Re: News, Reports and Analysis: LCA

Getting ride of IR missile's can be done 2ways.
1: Outmanouvre. Turn your aircraft at such a manner that the missile coming in with high speed misses it, and losses it's mark (ie. the missile can't find the exhaust pipes heat anymore) and flies straight ahaed untill it runs out of fuel.
2: Fl...

Kaveri has failed to meets specifications.
Well it just means that scientists and the IAF are not satisfied with the engines performance. Doesn't means it is failed. If you don't do an underground test, the pak's will say: see how irresponsible they are? That is excatly what the rest of the world will say pushing India into futher sanctions. Think of the environmental effects it will have on India. I don't think that's a good idea.
Just my thougts.
