Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

TN did not figure in the big picture to get BJP majority. They can line up with AP and TG and get nothing from Modi. Second term the stick will come out. People will suffer but hopefully its a cane and not a stick. This perpetuates the thinking that whoever is in center will never support TN. Peopl...

It seems everyday people switch their mind between admk and dmk. It is hard to know what button they will press on election day.

Cbe looks like a sure shot for bjp.

Kerala and TN also got many, many projects. In this very same Coimbatore, it is only due diligence that allowed this dispensation to complete the Podanur-Pollachi-Dindigul re-gauging. Pon Radhakrishnan for bjp won from Kanyakumari in 2014. This year they will again get min 1. Either cbe or kanyakumari. Sorry, forgot about that. Still that was just 1 seat. I'm hoping AIADMK will at least be in double digits. That will go some way in offsetting the seat loss in AP compared to last...

Next big is TN with 39 seats. My prediction* is this time it will be split 19 or 20 for either party-alliances. 20 seat loss for AIADMK/NDA. * I don't have district wise nuances of electorate unlike in AP. Well last time ADMK wasn't part of NDA, so NDA had a big Zero in TN I believe.Whatever ADMK g...

Vetri Vel - Victory lance
Veera Vel - brave lance
Both names are for Murugan's spear, our god of war.

Or Netrikan - Sivan's third eye

This all sounds OT and going towards disinvestment of PSU. Fair or unfair HAL/ADA own the IP on the Tejas. HAL's concern is orders. They will be willing to have another line running if there are additional orders. The export showcase has no downside. If any orders come through HAL would not refuse.

This all looks like a ploy to get more people to vote. Opposition best bet is to make up stories that govt cannot be trusted and get people out of their houses on voting day. Throw a ton of stuff out to confuse the voter and not let them hear the government's message.
