Numbers are derailing... Compare either fly away cost or Basic acquisition costs or total acquisition costs. Or full life cycle costs (for ex canadian do over 20 years). Difficult task. Especially when you put in a cost/mission...

Well according to AdA, Rafale will be relevant during 2050ies. (of course a NG version). Take a look on the article in latest avweek, many explanations about eurocanards and their EW, radar etc evolutions. Does not shed too much light on the Indian Rafale being relevant.
