The amounts (5.7 crore in one guy's toilet caught today) are too big to have come from some using deposit-and-withdraw mules which can only do a few thousand per week. Not to mention that Bombay Dyeing is one of the smaller companies of the Wadia Group, which is doing just fine with their stalwart brands like Britannia, GoAir, etc. The idea that demonetisation had anything to do with this move is not accurate at all.

Is it not counterproductive to confiscate more and more capital from small businessmen and feed it to this entity, which will allocate it inefficiently or otherwise squander it on renting treadmills for Rs.32,000 per day?...
