^^ SiG USA products are known to have quality issues (SiG R/xi, SiG MCX). San Swiss arms, the orignal swiss manufacturer (the real SiG) extracts premium pricing due to its quality.

^^ Both RFI and RFT are offering AKMs independent of each other and both have got decent orders for the same. RFI has orders from CRPF for ghatak and RFT has orders from police forces for TAR.

Edit: It is my guesstimate, but RFK might be behind the AK 103 push to keep their assembly lines working.

I distinctly remember a layout with two intakes. There was in fact a requirement of take off ability at 11000 ft above sea level and mention of two 2D thrust vector engines. I tried but I can't find the link or images.

Looks single engined, maybe a tech demonstrator. Some older designs seemed like twin engine designs. Also, with 4 Kaveris we can make our own vulcan sized UAV to fill the role of mid sized bomber.

No. OFB tar (trichy) is arsenal AKM, ghatak (ishapore) is AKM with insas trigger. Both ate long stroke. MCIWS was short stroke.

Probably the best rifle made for 7.62x39 mm cartridge. In this video you can see the punch that the short stroke piston system gives to the bolt carrier in slow motion.
