i tried to read back into the need of the Apache for the Air Force...could not find the necessary discussion...so i ask again for my knowledge....why exactly does the Air force need attack helos? I ask from both strategic and tactical necessity..should these not be pure Army Air corp?

In the earlier format the latest updates on the discussion forum used to be visible on the top right of the page...now how do i get to know which topic is being discussed and updated?

Also speaking of the Kalyani product and a tad off topic as a newbie pooch...if memory serves correctly...didn't the BSF also ask for better artillery equipment (i forget if it was on news or newspaper eons ago)..wouldn't this fit into the BSF requirements?
