Siemens and Alsthom have merged their Rail business today to counter Chinese moves in rail. Since GE doesnt manufacture electric engines only hope they can do is tie up with bombardier for marhowra plant. if our national interest say diesel is bad for rail, no point in making engines here irrespect...
