The fact that this encounter happened is because the judiciary takes years or a decade or more to decide rape/murder cases. Re: Chandrayan-2 Mission

Good to see things moving fast. My guess is the new propulsion module would be a bare bones cy2 orbiter structure with only feul and thrusters. Our own fregat space tug. Isro would need to qualify the landing algorithm for re- use before the actual CY 3 mission in 2023 with JAXA.

Re: Chandrayan-2 Mission

Sure it would cost a bomb and north block will have a massive heart attack. I think a standalone lander mission cant be done using a PSLV XL, since feul itself will take around 1500 kg. vikram had 700 kg feul only for landing purpose. orbiter had 1700 kg feul. Assuming half is for moon orbital inser...

Re: Chandrayan-2 Mission

I think this is what ISRO should do. They should not wait for 3 or 4 years to launch Chandrayaan - 3. Just launch lander only mission, Virkarm - 2. It should be a replica of Vikram - 1 plus any changes that needs to be done for the landing mechanism. Since it is a repeat mission, it can be done qui...

IMO it is not correct to blame any agency here as the lower court had ruled in our favour.
Pak might have used money + big brother influence to get appeal in their favour. Thais must pay for this by way of some tourism ban or something.

There is no gslv 4. L110 on mk3 will be replaced by semi cryo sce 200.
IMO if the lander goes in for a redesign, it should be optimized for pslv xl fairing, so that moon access can be done at much cheaper and regular intervals.
