If the CoA goes ahead and gives an ex-parte order which would be against Indian interests, that would end up in dustbin just like what China did in the case of the Indo-China Sea in 2016. IWT is passe and will never be revived, even with a successor state to Pakistan.

The problem for the Chinese in TSP is that both the Baloch and the TTP hate them viscerally. The Taliban are pressurized by PRC to curtail the TTP attacks on the Chinese. So, the option for TTP is to enable the Baloch.

DRDO Chief G.Sateesh Reddy said in September 2019 that the range of Astra was being extended. He also said in May 2022 that the missile range will be extended beyond 150 Kms.
