I dont see any squadron insignia on the tejas. i did a quick google search and most IAF birds dont have any insignia as well, although the IN has it on the mig 29k. does anyone know the reason why IAF does not choose to have it?

If PAF planes have been downed, whether IAF will report it. Too much H&D problem then, PAF will have to try retaliating. Maybe the "released payload" that fell is a Thundaar. They did claim that they scrambled, so I wonder how they avoided combat, with 12 Indian planes in the sortie. ...
