Does it make sense to take the Metro to Yashwantpur ( or Bayappanahalli ) and take a cab from there to MBP. Any idea on the estimated time from Yelachanahalli to Yashwantpur on the greenlin...

Naval exercise is a buildup on the fact that naval moves helped end Kargil. But Brasstacks may be on the anvil as well.

Re: India's Retaliation Options to significant terrorist strikes

Agree Yagnasri Ji When 2001 happened, I thought there was some action immediately ( Not sure how soon ) we recalled our envoy, overflights were banned, visas stopped, Paki envoy was declared persona non-grata etc before Op Parakram was ordered. Am hoping that similar suite actions will follow now asap

Re: Terror Attack At Army Camp In Jammu And Kashmir's Uri

Gen Hasnain says there was a specific intelligence input on this a few days ago. ( NDTV ). He also says there is typically minimum security around the rear of the battalion HQ
. There are apparently no walls and only a barbed fence around this place which was attacked.

Many thanks for the reply. I toured nearly half a dozen cities of one particular state in India, by road, last month. Mostly used different models of Mahindra (Scorpio et al.) during the tour. Re: Indian Railways Thread (Dec 2015)

We hear that Talgo offered to run a trial and therefore we accepted. How are we going to procure them ? If we are going to run the whole EOI+ globallRFP , trials again etc, why run these trials now ?
I tweeted to several folks in IR, no answer. Is there any clarity on next steps ?
