Re: Indian IT Industry
The premise is why Indian companies are not yet creating path breaking products like MS, Google, etc. If we are discussing something else then I am mistaken. @Arjun - The point is not about taking investor money but how to leverage it to make a global product or process or solution - I was suggestin...

Re: Indian IT Industry
I really hope that Indian companies become real software powers and come out with path-breaking products like Microsoft, Google, etc rather than just copy and adopt for the Indian market like we have been doing all these years. Sir, will take years. I hope too ..been part of a start up in 2007 wher...

Re: Indian Space Programme Discussion - Sept 2016
Speaking for myself, I've quite enjoyed the discussion of the past couple of days. I'd always wondered about the unnecessary lugging of the first stage, but it is refreshing to see a quantitative treatment of the subject. Though I'm unable to contribute much, I'd like to see more of this than purel...

China will begin putting pressure on our NE front. Watch. I think this specific deployment (operation URI) from "ISoosaI Labs" has been sponsored by Chinese to punish India for talking about interfering in Baluchistan and POK. If Indian Spl. Forces have entered POK, then additional pricks...

Re: South India River Water Issues/Disputes
@Sachin I think the verdict is a bit complicated. Quick googling says there is probably no monthly schedule for a year and there are some limit changes for when there is good rain, average rain and bad rain. Some one more knowledgeable can answer this more accurately. Either way, the calculation of ...

Re: South India River Water Issues/Disputes
Can any one explain the current formula being used for "water sharing"? I mean how are the percentages for water allocation decided? Is it as simple as measuring the water level at KRS every day (or every week), and then calculating the share for that day (or week) and releasing the water...

Re: Terror Attack At Army Camp In Jammu And Kashmir's Uri
This is possibly the continuation of Paki response to our PM's independence day speech and continuing paki bashing by Modi in all speeches. Since Paki's soft options like complaining in foreign countries did not work, and India has finally turned the corner with respect to the media storms over pell...

Re: India-US relations: News and Discussions III
I have not seen this posted before here. But my understanding is that this blog is operated by a group of people including Satya Dosapati (Indian National Overseas Congress had filed a $100 Million defamation against him and lost I think). This is a growing list of articles cataloguing Billary and a...
