^^ there is a general hatred towards Chinese nowadays throughout the world... even clips that may be from North Korea are getting passed as Chinese - even in US. So given the objective everything is fair and square. But I agree - we should not let our guard down based on these clips..

Not sure whether this is a smart move - esp publicizing it... any country can now search Chinese merchant vessels even on the international waters stating that they may be carrying BM that can target their country... open season... What is SCS value to the Chini? I look at the map and the only thing I can think off is the access to IOR. I dont think that it matters whether it has any value or not... the same can be said about all their other territorial fights with other countries... the actual land may be of little value but...

It's not just weather. People from plains can't really acclimatise very well in high altitude places like this. A lot of tourists routinely fall sick in such places, even the experienced ones. It's very hot during day time with a very strong sun which can peel off exposed skin if exposed to sun eve...
