Re: 2020 Strategic and Political Analysis-1

Dr Praveen Patil@5Forty3 Delhi violence is a reminder for that segment of Hindu voters who had started to believe that they had "done their duty" by voting for Modi in 2019! Civilizational battles are not won in a day or a month or a year https://twitter.com/5Forty3/status/1232257229958602...

It can't be seen as just protests by 'peaceful minority'. It's obvious a hostage crisis, and it's includes many Hindus who are giving it legitimacy, support and political goodwill. I guess it's more than 25% Hindus who are at a point of no return.

Re: 2020 Strategic and Political Analysis-1

BJP can't always win elections through it's own issues whether it's CAA, security, ideology. It's more important to highlight the opposition faults, and misgoverance. BJP failed to target AAP in recent elections and were unable to build a momentum of anti-incumbency. Hopefully, for Bengal elections,...

Re: 2020 Strategic and Political Analysis-1

Imo, Modi is the 1st/2nd choice for 60% of Hindus. That's a pro and con, as if another viable options comes, he resorts to being 2nd choice. 30% Hindus are probably a point of no return, and will never vote BJP. Thus, I feel it's not possible to always ask votes on your own work, and it's equally im...

People are overestimating the CAA protests. Even after Article 370 removal, BJP underperformed in MH & HN elections. So with a regular turnout, BJP always starts on the backfoot.

In long term, BJP needs to bring some elections reforms like NRI voting
