Wanted to understand, if we deploy our SAMs near LOC locations.. as per reports 16 enemy fighters violated our Air Space.
IAF came to rescue but just wanted to understand if why we didn't engaged them with SAMs.

They could have caused bigger damage to PAF fighters.

Alright, @DRDO_India's ASL & R&DE(E) have begun work on a quartz radome for the Tejas which once ready will be used on Tejas MK-IA delivery units instead of the imported Cobham radomes currently fitted on Mk-I deliveries.

Apparently, to recover some of the directional stability lost due to the elongation of the Tejas fuselage and the addition of canards, modifications to the vertical fin are necessary.

With all this very successful test of Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet Missile, hope Astra production is not put to back burners.

We still needs Astra in large numbers and look for export possibilities.

Lots of new missile systems are getting developed but don't see all are going into Production quickly.
