Pravin Sawhney being friends ( muslims or non-muslims ) from any country is not a problem. But writing books with titles such as these : "Why India can't defeat pakistan or china in a war" and "What if India finds itself involved in a two front war with China and Pakistan" seems ...

Re: 2019 General Elections : Results Discussion

I am also expecting good education reforms focused on innovation and skill orientation. There is a horrible trend of pushing a lot of content with not enough time for kids to think and innovate. True. Education needs to be democratized. Both central and state governments should stop prescribing who...

Re: BRF get-together IITM July 11-14?

Rather than thinking of villages as single units, I'd guess a cluster of villages around a more urbanised hub would be a more practical way of looking at it. Secondary level schools and primary healthcare in villages with higher secondary and undergrad/pg level, speciality hospitals level at the hu...

Re: BRF get-together IITM July 11-14?

One would do better to come up with reasons why learning Bharatiya ItihAsa and Samskrtam lead to a job and a wealthy life. Might be something in AI but I am too ignorant to think of it. Bhartiya Itihas and sanskriti can give more than just well paid jobs.We don’t need AI for this to happen :) Here’...

Spot on!! 100++ I have been in an AI presales role for the last 4+ years here in the US. A few takeaways: - ***everyone*** has a different definition of what AI means - Most IT Services companies run a body-shop model. There is little to no IP and no incentive to develop it either. Listing the data sources available in India ( only through legal means ) can be a good first step in this thread.
Scraping raw data from internet and running cluster analysis on related terms can take us only so far.
