To be fair, Qatar did order 12 more at 1.1 billion Euro, bringing the total to 7.4 billion for 36 aircraft. Of course, they did not spend 1.8 billion on enhancements like India did, plus they also reportedly did not ask for offsets or performance-based logistics.

Year end is March 2020. Not December 2019. They have been scaling up their production and should have the second assembly line ready so that the numbers can reach 16 per year. The chairman of Indian Negotiating Team, SBP Sinha said that we have never gotten sovereign guarantee from any country. The French disagreed to give bank guarantee as it would equate them to a vendor. Seems to be a standard G2G deal comparable to the ones that we sign with US or Russia.

Seems to be a misreporting. A 13,000 tonne sub can't run on a 83 MWth reactor. S5 and following will be 13,000 tonne class and they need a bigger reactor.

I wouldn't take the cost as final. A DSCA notification in August 2013 for 145 M777 howitzers estimated the cost as $885 million, but the final deal was inked at $737 million. They're probably padding the cost to account for the usual bureaucratic delays.
