Jaganathan’s article on god should be required reading globally starting in grade five. It is straight forward and polite enough. It is precisely why church pews are emptying in North America and Western Europe among the educated. Among the seers, Thomas Paine, David Hume, Edward gibbon, Pope Leo X...

I am currently visiting family in Lucknow (UP) for Diwali... As I understand from my BIL (Sr Director @ CSIR), the family docs still prescribe Ivermectin (12mg OD x5) at the earliest sign. The American far right/Anti Vax movement has decided to adopt India as an example to further their belief in Iv...

Re: Wuhan Coronavirus Resource Thread
Govt is doing a terrible job of vaccinating the population. The stupid f***s have introduced totally avoidable bureaucratic processes, wasting a lot of time of people getting vaccinated and of the hospital employees. They shouldn't be requiring anything more than an aadhaar number, but they enter a...

I got my vaccine today. I was the only one there when I reached. Within 5 mins everything was done and was resting in the observation area biding my time. As a US citizen, I have sold and bought property in 2010 and 2013 with OCI as my only proof of ID and have quoted the OCI# wherever the Adhaar /Pan etc was required. Recently, I used the OCI to get a new cell phone too in India.

Re: India-US relations: News and Discussions IV
Sometime back on other BRF sections, there was talk on US request for Indian troops deployment in Afghanistan. In view of Trump's comments of NOT mentioning specific US troops increase and praise for India, does that mean Indian forces could be in play in Afghanistan? Coupled with the denunciation o...
