Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
Before we make a judgment can someone tell me what is our loss? What type of equipment and how many? Without knowing that there is no way to know the weapon profile. We cannot judge the tactics by simply speculating. That is exactly what most arm chair generals are doing. Sirji, there is no officia...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
It was a “long-range shot, beyond visual range,” likely using the export version of China’s PL-15 air-to-air missile, which Dahm said has an 80 nautical mile range. The kill chain is the same kind the U.S. is attempting to create within and between its services through the Combined Joint All Domain...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
Good analysis by Nitin Gokhale on paki losses. It seems MoD is eventually coming up with a battle damage assessment for paki losses and the number is close to $8 billion. He is saying that 4 F-16 Blk 52 were also destroyed along with other fighter aircraft and SAAB AWACS/C-130. Says will take them c...

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion
As much as dhoti shivering I am noticing with regards to J-35 especially on reddit among fellow deshwasis, I am more or less sure that there is only one country that has really managed to get a 5th gen fighter working. If ruskis haven't got it working, there is no way in hell the chicoms do. The chi...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
May be CDS deliberately created confusion. He weaved a mayajal . He made ppl think India lost aircraft. May be this was necessary to keep lid on the fact that India used decoys and what were lost were not fighters but decoy drones. It is better to swallow the pride rather than reveal our tactics. V...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
So Shiv Aroor stated that as per a briefing received by IAF, he was told of 9 confirmed aircraft losses of PAF. Need to wait for the presser.

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
The most concerning thing from the interview was the admission of tactical errors on our part. Surely, that was taking a clear dig at IAF and these kind of things should have been internally discussed and rectified. I don't think its some 4D chess strategic step which would fructify in due time. Its...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
Is there an analysis done on the Bhatinda crash images by an SDRE? I have seen shiv's analysis on Akhnoor, Pampore crashes and they definitely seem to be PAF JF-17 and Mirage-V.

Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
I am seeing a whole lot of videos out there showing the Indian army and airforce (defense) capabilities along the LoC and IB for past few days. I hope its intentional by the govt and not giving in to TRP pressure of the media.
