Re: Russian-Ukrainian War: Combat Tactics & Strategy
All the Russian channels (RIA/Tass, etc) are reporting that Seversk is under Russian/LDPR operational control. https://ria.ru/20220714/seversk-1802344760.html However, I haven't seen any photographs of Russians doing their little dance in front of the mayor's office .... Re: Russian-Ukrainian War: Combat Tactics & Strategy
Ukrainian forces are being guided by Anglo saxons who have their own plans. No withdrawal from cities under threat of encirclement. This means industrial plants are often last stands, which get completely destroyed. The war is effectively deindustrialising the most industrialised region of Ukraine. ...

The Ukrainians have no credibility. They couldn't even accept when they got surrounded in Debaltseve in 2015. When the Russians allowed them to get out of encirclement without weapons, they called it successful retreat. :D If these guys are admitting 200 killed daily, the numbers may in fact be many...

Re: Russian-Ukrainian War: Combat Tactics & Strategy
It has boiled down to small drones, communication jamming and attack by artillery. Russians claim that they have reduced the time from when a target is spotted by a drone to the time it is hit by artillery to less than 3 minutes. It is actually plausible. They were at 10 minutes when the war started...

There are two groups in Russian politics. One is vehemently anti-establishment. Another is pro Putin. The anti-establishment group is smitten by western liberalism and they think they are defending liberal values, which is laughably stupid, but anyway. The pro-Putin faction supports the war, of cour...
