Majority of Indian defence youtube channels are run by irdw type fanbois. They'll claim 10 things, 3-4 prove to be correct later and they keep on pretending as people with contacts. Their viewers are just the argumentative fools you see on paki forums. They shouldn't be taken seriously. Defence dec...

If we shortlist mig 35 with India specific enhancements and integrate our stuffs like Uttam AESA, and other equipments developed for MWF and indigenous weapons like Astra mk1, astra mk2, Rudram series, Saw etc. then it will come very cheap and the money saved can be used to buy 36 more Rafales and m...

Safran did design an engine that is similar to what we need for AMCA. Hardly so. GE F-414 is quoted at ~63 kN dry thrust and M-53-P2 is at 65 kN. Wiki and this twitter says 58KN of dry thrust - https://twitter.com/aerodynamic111/status/1270201816924315653?lang=en though wiki doesn't specifically mentions about F414-GE-INS6 - I doubt it will be that much improvement f...

If yes then we can increase TWR without changing it's engine and only AESA radar will be major upgrade required. It is a very complicated task though.

Max. take Off Weight =17.5 tons
Weapon Load = 6.5 tons
So Loaded Weight = 11 tons
Internal Fuel = 3.3 tons
So empty weight = 11000 Kg - 3300 kg - 500 Kg (Additional Load) = 7200 KG (7.2 tons)
