First it was the plane, then HAL production capability, and now it's price.
GOI owns HAL so what's the real problem?

What is a nuclear missile tracking ship?

Looks like extra masala.

Its an ocean surveillance ship.
US, Russia and maybe China too have it.
Due to the range constraints India need such a ship to monitor test missiles.

Could be used to monitor ISRO launches debris too.

I understand they did life extension of the vehicle.

Earlier DRDO used to refrain from missile tests in heavy rain and testing season was limited from November to May before the onset of monsoon.

how about we dig into the funds allocated to HAL to build the Tejas mfg line?

I am not clear on the TDS, PV, LSP and SP mfg line.

However I am clear on the second Tejas line was funded at Rs 1350 crores from Ajai Shukla blogs and many others.
