Good that BJP getting some lessons. Mukul Roys ( or Jatin Prasadas) are only fair whether friends. Not all coming in to the Parties are going to be Hemantha Bishwa Sharmas. RahulM, Thanks for the long and detailed analysis. Sure beats the pop analysis in media. Yes, there were missteps and active measures by TMC that got them the majority. If Covid is shown to be a bio-weapon a second strike is justified under Indian doctrine. My point was with respect to China 'grabbing Indian soil'. That's not part of Indian doctrine. The doubts about Covid coming from the Wuhan Institute of Virology are dissipating by the day. The latest is the di...

The Col.is wrong. Many assessments were done about intelligence gaps. It's a given that Chinese will attack with probability of 1.0. This is due to the constant birder occupations since 2013 to 2018 in different sectors, Depsang, Hot Springs Gogra, Dokhlam. However where the next incident will happe...

No point in getting hyper. I have been my following LDW since 2018.
LDW has become entrepot for smuggling, trafficking and terrorism.

Fanne and Vivek, After Desert Storm, low altitude bombing is hazardous.
Since then mostly standoff LGB and GPS guided bombing is the preferred way.
Jaguar avionics have been constantly upgraded for this reason.

Yes Tejas can drop standoff bombs.
But if you look at numbers Jaguars out number Tejas.

Yes, all this shows that there is a significant import lobby in the services that is allowed to sustain itself despite seven years of a highly nationalist govt. All these press reports help show where they lurk.

Its possible that Army QA is also stalling to ensure the inventory is starving to justify imports. Can't put it past them.

Cost will be high as the numbers ordered are quite small.
And why is the cost an Army problem it the MoD and FM problem to fund it?
