Hari Nair sir,

Do you see a potential, even if limited, naval role for the LCH? For example they could operate off amphib ships in order to support beach assault?

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread

At some point the thought process will have to be revealed by IAF air Marshals.... At the moment I find KaranMs explanation as correct. The political leadership would have wanted to contain the situation, not flare it up.

Question is whether we will be keen to send IAF again in near future.

In case of IAF, a small body of troops could be trained to Para (SF) or MARCOS standard while retaining their core skills. And I'm expecting at least a Mi-17 squadron and a Dhruv Squadron to be seconded to them for use; these machines being knitted out with required gear. ... BTW - it seems NSG rem...

Re: CDS, Tri-Services Issues & Integration Debate

The creation of the AFSOD (lets called it the S.O.D - sounds better) will offer decision makers another go-to option. For the first time, there is a Special Forces formation - and not just a SF unit - who you can task to achieve objectives. Thus, you can achieve bigger objectives. The only other for...
