There were reports of some Chinese nationals being accused of blasphemy in TSP. I do agree with you that Chinese intel could not have done anything without the ok of TSPA. We need to watch this space.

Imran Khan's support base is made up of 'Burger jihadis' i.e. upper middle class 'youth' supposedly fed up with krrrrrruption and dreaming of a 'Naya Pakistan' where a hug and kiss on a TTP jihadi's beard will make all worries go away. I've known of cases where someone shot in the head was able to walk to a hospital. Reports say that this guy had a bullet wound through his throat and had lot a lost of blood. A nutbag going off using his mother's guns in a nursery school cannot be compared with an organized bombing effort. Too much organization for a lone madman theory to be true. The entire city needs to be in lockdown because (a) there can me more than one remaining guy and (b) the dead guy was trying to do a 'fidayeen' type operation as he was going down. We could easily see a situation where a school or restaurant or a place like that is taken hostage, similar to 26/11.

The dustbin net to the circled device was not damaged? That is unlikely. That just might suggest that this was not a powerful bomb. Rudradev I think you're over analyzing things. If TSPA/ISI has the brains and the pin-point control over jihadis to plot and execute a fake 'near miss' operation like Times Square, then 9/11 would not have happened etc. In reality, TSPA has asymmetric control over its jihadi assets. It can get them ...
