Shiv, I used to concentrate on all sorts of issues w.r.t. taking good pictures, like aperture, shutter, etc. etc. But it's not really that difficult - just set your camera to program mode (full auto), use an ISO of 100 or 64 for a clear sky or 200 or 400 for a cloudy sky. Jut keep two things in mind...

Daulat, it probably has to do more with the Midas' center of gravity. The two side drogues probably drain fuel out of the wing fuel tanks, whereas the centerline one drains the fuel out of a central fuel tank?

Re: Kargil Revisited - Thread 3
Yup the argument runs both ways. It's anybody's prerogative to belive whichever. For me you are guilty unless proven innocent. Isn't it equally possible that RAW didn't actually posses the info and were clueless about the presence of the units? Err, Subramanyam is openly stating that they had not &q...

Re: Kargil Revisited - Thread 3
Yes, it does sound like a big conspiracy theory - however everyone is guilty until proven innocent. If one reads between the lines of the Subramanyam committee report, one will realise what exactly is being hidden. There are some assertions made in that document that are quite startling. I haven't r...

The cause is there - not everyone has the capacity to see it. Concern about death is an emotional issue which is irrelevant to the cause.

Re: Kargil Revisited - Thread 3
Going by the outcome of Kargil and what later happened to TSP and it's then existing rulers and political setup, I would not be surprised if the government allowed Kargil to knowingly happen - as I have mentioned in the past. It could have very well been a ploy to make TSP puke in the peace party - ...

There seems to be some confusion here atleast in my mind: there are four Bose that are quite famous.. They are: 1) Jagdish Chandra Bose - Botanist. 2) Amar Bose - electronics guy; "Bose" speakers 3) Satyendra Nath Bose - theoretical physics; Bose-Einstein condensate. 4) Subhash Chandra Bos...

Jagan, I doubt your idea will reduce the worldload of the admins - it will only help to increase it - and into areas where you will not have too much control. Imagine a packee posing as an Indian fan wanting to get BRF logo - and then going on to convert that website into something like dalitstan.or...

Ok, for a long time, one of the favourite whines of the admins has been bandwidth. I propose a solution that in real life should reduct BRF traffic down to about 30% of what it is right now. It's nothing great - I just noticed that the BR Apache server does not use HTTP 1.1 GZIP on-the-fly compressi...

Johann, beg to disagree. PLAAF doctrines require that they do not have to replace equipment one on one frequently. PAF doctrines - I am not sure about that -they need to have equipment to match an opponent that will wipe the floor with them anyday. If I were to be PAF, my best option would be to buy...
