Re: Why We Need Pokhran-3
IMHO the two things India lacks are a credible megaton device (design) and or actual warhead and an openly announced sub or land (silo) launched MIRV missile with a range in excess of 12,000 km. Yes, both have been bandied about and alluded to, but if it is to become a regional or bigger power, what...

Why not arrest 8 qataris in India on espionage charges, conduct a secret sham trial, and do a prisoner exchange. We all know the Qatar trial is a farce. Why not pay back with the same hand?

Re: Why We Need Pokhran-3
I agree with the Mt devices. But where would you test them? I thought I remembered in 1998 that they deliberately dialed down the yield not to inflict collateral damage or a radiation leak on the nomadic population that lived near Pokhran.

Hello fellow Konkani. And yes we are all Indians. ^^^^ I have to defend myself here. :) Rao actually originates from the Kargil area. It is a (original) Konkani construct (NOT the current Goan Konkani, which has Creol, via Portugal, in it). The original Konkani is pure Sanskrit based, perhaps Prakri...

I love this new India. The one with a spine! FYI, here in the US, there has been 0 coverage on CNN tv. The only vague mention I saw was on their website and some milque toast article by another Indian (white on the inside) American calling into question the change from India to Bharat--essentially i...

It was in summer of 2005 when my wife and I were on a vacation to Peru. We stayed at a lodge on the outskirts of the Amazon jungle. Met a nice Canadian family staying there. The ISRO official youtube channel did similar - switched to PM Modi in the last 30 seconds or so of the landing. This is a joyous occasion, but I do want to register a protest. If it is your hypothesis that Russia emerges from this conflict better off, I am sorry to say that we will never agree. It doesn't matter what you will agree with or won't. Personally, as an American of Indian origin, I always see a lot of takleef and disharmony on this thread. I think that the US and India should just stick to their own gig and leave each other alone. I don't know why the US kisses India's back side so much; I get that it is a growing economy and larg...

Serious Question. I know most of you are pro-Russia and that's fine by me.
