Re: Artillery Corps: News & Discussion

ATAGS has 25 lit. chambers translate into greater recoil force so stronger thus heavier gun. can ATHOS match ATAGS range? no. BTW why are we debating? the one who pays says no means no. Because the one who pays is the tax payer. And unless there are very specific reasons, like deserts can't withsta...

I have not come across any talk on quartz radome. Most likely, these were old pictures, if not some development on the previous Kevlar radome. There was some speculation long ago on a new radome for Mk2.

The more juicer 'scandal' would be the 'removal' of (APG-66H multi-mode radar) radar that is available in another variant from the requirements of the Indian variant in exchange for the "simulation for frontline sensors and weapons".

I am curious to know whenever there was talk on using GE-F414 in LCA Mk1/A, many arguments are given why it is not a trivial upgrade, especially the need to modify the intakes. But no such considerations are discussed for Su-30 MKI upgradation. Why is it so?

I could not find the size for OBOGS (unlike Internal EW suite whose volume is published). But weight is 14.5 kg.
