Re: Indian Autos Thread

Well the TATA in-house one itself is a legacy of it's partnership with Benz. When the partnership ended so did the development of new engines. Telco made a few improvements but that's it. There was no effort to design anything more powerful. While the Daimler Benz legacy is true and continues in so...

Re: Commonwealth Games-New Delhi 2010

Just when one thought it can’t get any worse than kalmadi speech, out comes Shamik davar lip-synching the 70’s top of the pop charts. The entire lot is lip-synching so pathetically that cameras, thankfully, are avoiding close-up shots.

A much better act would have been the Shillong choir.

Token strikes, if any, are going to be just that. It will hit a few camps and perhaps kill a few rats. But for the pakjab they were expandable anyways. For a truly punishing lesson UPA has to grow sufficient balls and walk the whole yard and at least hit the following Murdke – First targeting. Natur...

Re: Indian Response to Terrorism

AntulayGate is far more sinister than it appears. It has all the intent, purpose and markings of being the Godhra2008. The aim is to take the air out of current posturing, whatever that might be, and open up a diversionary front within. Will it be safe to assume that sleeper cells at high places ha...

I can’t believe I am saying this but coverage of TIMES TV have been outstanding till now. Aranab Goswami (and the lady from field) has been online for almost 24 hrs and remains very articulate. He is cautious in not giving out any operational details. In fact he has been cutting off any field string...
